After graduating
from Sydney University Les worked for 3 years as a Private
Client Advisor in Sydney where he dealt with retail clients and
managed their portfolios. After moving to London Les worked as
an Institutional Dealer on the desk of an Australian broker
where he advised Fund Managers on Australian stocks and was also
asked to trade the firms' principal account which required
managing the trading between the London, Geneva and New York
offices plus the overnight orders from Australia. After
returning to Australia Les started work as a Foreign Exchange
Broker where he specialized in Cross rates, specifically with
the Japanese Yen, and routinely traded more than $1bn in value
per day. Later, Les returned to the field of stock broking as a
Private Client Advisor and used this time to develop his options
trading business to supplement the 'ordinary' returns that
shares provide. In 2002 the huge volume of work forced saw Les
move into the running of an options specific fund that
concentrated on trading options. In 2008 Les moved back into
stock broking with Halifax where, with his Accredited
Derivatives Adviser Levels 1 & 2 qualification, he supports
clients across many mediums, calling on his significant
